Part III. Get Ready: Skills, Tools & Organization

Students have been learning from books and personal experiences for centuries, and will continue to learn through time.  However, research practices that were developed in elementary and secondary school need to be enhanced for college-level research. The advanced resources present advanced information using technical terminology and theoretical foundations that are challenging to understand.  In addition, the Internet has changed the process to access most of the resources needed for research.
