B | Student Policies: Rights, Rules and Regulations
As a member of the Bucks County Community College community, you have certain rights and responsibilities regarding your relationship with your peers, your professors, and the College. The rules, regulations, and polices are intended to foster an environment of mutual respect for you and your fellow students and to enhance the educational environment at Bucks.
Why are the Bucks Policies: Rights, Rules and Regulations important?
- Violation of certain campus regulations can result in fines which left unpaid can prevent you from registering for the next semester.
- Certain behaviors can result in you being removed from the class.
- If you’re not aware of academic regulations, you could be dismissed from the college or lose your financial aid.
- The information that you learn now will prevent misinformation and confusion later.

Bucks County Community College (the College) complies with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, which prohibits discrimination (including sexual harassment, sexual misconduct and sexual violence) based on gender in the College’s educational programs and activities. Title IX also prohibits retaliation for asserting such claims of discrimination. The College is committed to providing an environment free from gender-based discrimination or harassment.

This policy applies to all electronic information systems and services provided by Bucks County Community College. Included are all forms of electronically stored information: documents, files, emails, text messages, instant messages, blogs and all other forms of internet based communication. The policy also applies to all equipment including, but not limited to, college owned personal computers, cellular or desktop telephones, fax machines, photocopiers, printers, cameras, system user accounts, and other network access devices and services.
