Thank you for choosing to browse the contents of Introduction to Italian Language and Culture IV. This textbook is designed to support the instructional needs of college students approaching the study of Italian as a foreign language, and it illustrates the grammar and vocabulary that are commonly covered during a fourth semester of instruction. It was originally drafted in 2020 by Caterina Pieri to support her students at Oakland University, in Rochester, Michigan. Her purpose is to foster students success through free contents that explain linguistic topics while stimulating curiosity about cultural aspects with the ultimate goal of cultivating lifelong learning.
