Students in the senior semester course Nursing 420: Care of the Complex Client are asked to create a patient, culminating their understanding of pathophysiology, assessment, labs, diagnostics, medications, and care planning. The assignment is called Digital Storytelling, with instructions found here.

Students have done amazing work in creating the patient story’s so beginning in Spring 2017, these stories were collected and shared with the hopes of these “stories” being available to other nursing students to use as case study review.

Each story gives credit to the original student author, with oversight for the assignment, updates for clinical currency, and editing by Jaime Hannans. These stories are only the written case study aspect of the digital story that student’s presented in class at the end of the semester.
