Screeching Cockatiel Self-Publishers is a home-based self-publishing service. Our name was inspired by Rick’s own idea for a consulting company: Screeching Cockatiel Consulting. He would mention that name every time one of us tried to hijack his business calls by singing and/or screeching on the phone. While Rick never fully appreciated our attempts to make his boring conversations more enjoyable, we felt a little tribute was needed to his impressive abilities to invent cool names.

We are always loud and clear about the things that we like and what we dislike. Making Rick’s work available to the public is a project we are particularly proud of, not only because it fulfills the author’s wish, but also because we’ve never made a book before. Most of our expertise so far has been in the shredding business (still our main enterprise), not in publishing. Nevertheless, we think the author would have been pleased with the result presented here. We hope you are as well.
