What is suffering? How to define it? What are the types and categories of suffering or sufferers?

For us, these questions require systematic studies within the framework of a discipline specifically dedicated to the subject of suffering. Until we have results from such studies, we cannot establish with sufficient confidence “what suffering we are addressing” in our global management of suffering. That’s why one of the first things we are DOING is publishing a web page titled A Discipline Specialized in the Study of Suffering as a place where to start the development of such a new body of knowledge.
