Wm. Kirmse Native Countian Dies

In Oklahoma William Kirmse, who was born and reared at Farrar, died on Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Share Memorial Hospital in Alva, Okla. He was 93.

Mr. Kirmse was born on May 21, 1875, and married Martha Cordes, who died on Dec. 9, 1967. Among the survivors are one son, Julius Kirmse of Alva; three daughters, Mrs. Laura Schmidt, Mrs. Ella Krueger and Mrs. Norma Rauh; 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kirmse, a retired farmer, lived in the Farrar community until 1910, when he moved to Alva, where he lived until his death.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Aug. 16, at Zion Lutheran Church at Alva and burial was in the church cemetery.
