One of the most common design models used in the design of instruction is the ADDIE Model. Many other instructional design models are based on the ADDIE. The following sections of Chapter 3 will discuss and provide tips on incorporating the planning processes based on the ADDIE, story boarding, instructional strategies and the  evaluation (formative and summative) processes involved in instructional design.
