This final content module illustrates how Accessible Education principles can be incorporated during the assessment of student learning and when gathering student feedback on your course.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module, you should be able to:

  • Identify 3 barriers students in your class may face with your current assessment practices;
  • Consider 2 ways you might enhance the Flexibility, Alignment, Variety and/or Explicitness (FAVE) of your assessments, and/or the provision of feedback; and
  • Explain why it is important to seek student feedback on classroom accessibility and your teaching in multiple ways over the life of a course.
