Wild Things: The Wacky and Wonderful Truth About the Animal Kingdom, Mike Capuzzo, Fawcett Books, 1995, ISBN 9780449908952, 273pp.

A collection of the syndicated newspaper column of the same name, detailing silly and serious items on the animal kingdom. This was a “bedside book” for me; perfect short attention span theater material. The chapters are organized by “things,” like “White House Dog Things” and “Your Pet Cat Things.” Within the chapters are little tidbits of titillation, like slugs with penises larger than their bodies and White House staff with a penchant for killing dogs. Nothing earth shattering here, but it provided for interesting dreams.
