Contributors & Acknowledgments

This OER textbook was made possible by a generous grant awarded by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s GEER State Grant and funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The faculty and staff at Tarrant County College (TCC) and Texas Woman’s University (TWU), who were awarded this grant in 2021 formed a cross-institutional consortium to increase student access to OER and to eliminate the cost of educational materials for our Composition I students.

Dr. Jackie Hoermann-Elliott and Dr. Kathryn Quesenbury wrote the grant and acted as principal investigators to lead the development of these materials. They also contributed extensively to the writing, editing, and digital content creation of this project.
