67 Wrapping Up

Your writing directly represents you. Remember to choose a variety of  sentence constructions, appropriate diction, active voice, and proper grammar. The types of sentences, diction, imagery, voice, and grammar all reflect on how you portray yourself to your readers and establish your ethos. Consequently, readers frame their opinion of you based on how well you convey your ideas.  Moreover, slowing down to revise and edit could mean the difference between eating Grandma or inviting Grandma to come to the dinner table.
