Html is so much more than coding and organizing a webpage or article. To look as professional as possible it is best to incorporate  images in order to appeal to a broad audience. After watching J. David Eisenberg HTML: Images and Figures from LinkedIn Learning, the best way to truly understand embedding images in HTML code is to practice with difference images sizes and placement on a webpage. The videos provided are full of information about how to change the image and customize it to fit your webpage content. Coding images into HTML does not seem complicated, it just requires knowledge of what attributes you need and working with the sizes to fit the page.

An article from zigtag.com called html-images & pictures is a good resource for hands on learning through practice tutorials. The article explains how images are placed in your webpage and how to make them look a certain way to keep the purpose of the message of the image very clear to whoever goes onto your webpage. They give you a step-by-step explanation of what to do. You can follow along to get a better understanding of how embedding images works through HTML. The instructions provide a code for how to alter the width and height of an image.

This article explains how to align the image to best fit your website. It also explains the different image file formats, and what they are best for by giving a brief description of GIFs, JPGS, and PNGs, the effect they have on the webpage, and how much storage space they take up.
