It was at the meeting of the Petitions Committee on Monday 04 May 2015 when I met Andrea Jacob who spoke on behalf of over 1,000 cases – as a psychologist.

She mentioned that 3,900 forced adoptions had been carried out in Germany. Official statistics. But Members of the Bundestag had denied that the same morning.

The Committee had 225 petitions from Germany and 40 were in preparation.

Cecilia Wikstrom MEP mentioned 243 petitions when she spoke at the Round Table seminar.

I know two German mothers who lost their children to their abusive fathers in the UK.
