Trump suggested Rosenstein should be jailed for treason. But today, Rosenstein told Trump that he is “grateful…for the courtesy and humor you often display in our personal conversations." And he signed off with a favorite Trump phrase: "America first." https://t.co/Ri4AktAuLF

Bharara is right Rosenstein is NOT despised by the Democrats, the question is though should he be? Isn’t this just another example of how easy to please, easy to charm the diffident Dems really are?
In light of these revelations the Dems need to be reconsidering this
I moderated a panel with two terrific speakers—@PreetBharara and @NatashaBertrand—on Mueller Report.

But where are the Democrats? Are they asleep? @RepSwalwell @brianschatz Will they ever take off their 'just wait till 2020' blinders? https://t.co/5SUZCL5LzD

Rosenstein goes from wanting to wear a wire because Trump can’t be trusted to accurately recount one-on-one conversations to “safely landing the (investigative) plane” for the president. No one can accuse Rod of planting his feet in the right place and standing firm. #weakness pic.twitter.com/id2kPTh1VA

Rosenstein's conduct is problematic, no question, but if it was set in stone, as it appears to have been, that Trump wouldn't be indicted, it was accurate to tell Trump he wasn't a target. Trump would have been less likely to do an interview if he'd been told he was a target.

Or try to blame Russian interference on behalf of 'President Trump' on the Obama Administration. Meanwhile in what way did he make sure that the 'President' was 'treated fairly?'

Rod Rosenstein spoke to Trump about the Russia probe while Mueller was still investigating and told Trump that he would make sure Trump was treated fairly, people familiar with the conversation tell WaPo.
Rosenstein said, "I can land the plane." https://t.co/eTKgFWbRqf
